as weve made some tutorials for you to get used to radiant,
this will show you how to make a map. first you have to make a pln how it should look like.

then start up Radiant. (make sure you know what kind a style you want, like castle or modern.) First start to make all ure houses and stuff, that have nothing to do with ure objective. Then, when u finished the 2nd step, make a plan what ure objective would look like. When you want to blow a door/gate make a brush like that. (objective is the last step) Then make ure brushes destrucitble, ill explain that another lesson! The last thing you've to do is make a box bigger then ure map and make it hullcaulk and then hollow it. (another lesson) make sure you got something like a sky texture to texture the inside of the box.

So here is how i started: I made a small wall with a bigger brush in the corner
that will be a tower. then i made a info_player_deathmatch to see how big the buildings have to
be. the player in ET is as big as that entity! so, then i made a small house. you can see, i
started at the lower left side.

this will be the house where the amo and health cabinetts
will be. next thing will be the 2nd floor of that house
and make the stairs complete.

okay now ill start to texture that things. so first you click "textures"
and then a texture folder that should be loadet: (i choose castle textures and bunker_sd for that)

then i choose a side of a brush (ctrl+shift+left mouse)

and after that i choose a texture from the texture window.
